Tamiya 58530 TOYOTA 86 TA06 CHASSIS 1/0 w/ Full Ball Bearings Kit New from Japan. The 86 is a series of sports cars jointly developed by Toyota and Subaru and solely manufactured by the latter. It features a boxer engine, front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout and 2+2 seating. The car is very distinctive due to its sporty form, low-profile bonnet, flared fenders and rear diffuser. The car is available in worldwide markets under three different brands with respective model names. In Asia, South Africa, South America and Australia it is known as the Toyota 86. In Europe it carries the GT86 name, while in some countries it is known as the FT-86 and in the U. And Canada it is known as the Scion FR-S.

Tamiya captures the form of this affordable sports car on the radio control dual-drive TA-06 chassis platform. The 4WD TA06 chassis features excellent balance thanks to its layout positions of the motor and battery pack along the centerline of the chassis. It is powered via a distinctive Dual-Drive System with belt-driven front and gear-driven rear wheels. 4-wheel double wishbone suspension features a refined Inboard Front Suspension setup with short reversible suspension arms.

The front and rear gearboxes are both equipped with silicone oil-filled gear differential units that provide superb traction and acceleration. The TA-06 is fitted with 24mm width racing radial tires with inner sponges and mounted on BBS replica mesh wheels to provide road hugging performance.
